The government of Morocco chose Abu Dhabi-based Reem Investments to develop an $1bn project in Marrakech.
The 200-hectare project, named Atlas Garden, will consist of three hotels, a fitness club, 18 hole golf course, market and shopping centre, as well as villas and apartments.
Located on the Ourika road , less than 10 km from the center of Marrakech, the Atlas Garden project includes a golf course of 18 holes and 3 hotels of more than 2.500 beds. The 200 hectare plotwill include a covered area of 600 thousand sq.metres. Atlas Garden will also include a craft market, a modern shopping centre (Mall) and luxury residential accommodation. The building work is expected to take 5 years, and envisages the creation of gardens, parks.
